Course Summary: In this 1-day intensive workshop, you will learn to bake and decorate 5 exquisite cupcakes:

1) Chocolate Fudge Cupcake
A chocolate lover’s dream. Rich and fudge flavour that is guaranteed to melt in your mouth!

2) Strawberry Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Icing
Moist and fluffy with delicious cream cheese icing.

3) Coconut Cupcakes with Coconut Buttercream
Exotic, tropical, and oh so delicious!

4) Caramel Filled with Vanilla Caramel Buttercream
Vanilla cupcake filled with delicious caramel, topped with buttercream and drizzled with caramel.

5) Raspberry Filled with a Raspberry Buttercream
Vanilla cupcake filled with raspberry and topped with fresh raspberry buttercream.

This class will be conducted by our guest instructor Farah, a certified baker with more than 10 years of experience.

BRIEF PROFILE:

Farah’s love of baking started at an early age with an acute appreciation for the skill and fine attention to detail required. During her life in England, she refined her baking talents satisfying the sweet and savoury palate of friends and colleagues while working for Virgin Atlantic. With the onset of new family arrivals, Farah’s strong family ties and fondness of the local culture compelled her home to Malaysia.

Upon her return to Asia, Farah dedicated herself to expanding her baking credentials and in turn has established a strong and respected reputation in the marketplace. Specialising in traditional high quality baked treats, Farah’s company, Whisk & Bake, was a regular feature at Kuala Lumpur’s premier artisan craft market, the Little Red Market. Farah continues to enjoy success with many notable customers including royalty, celebrities, politicians, and corporate clients not to mention the family and friends.

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Full payment by bank transfer within 3 days of confirmation of seat availability. Seat is not guaranteed until payment is received. Your class fee is not refundable due to a student being a “no show.”
  2. If a class is fully booked, it will be indicated in the class status as “FULL””. No further registrations will be accepted.
  3. If cancellation is made more than seven (7) days prior to the start of the class, the fees may be transferred to a later class but not refunded. Bookings are, however, freely transferable to another person for the same class so you are welcome to send someone else in your place.
  4. Occasionally, we may have to cancel or postpone a class due to unavoidable circumstances or if a class is under-subscribed. In such a case we will notify all confirmed attendees as soon as possible and offer full refunds by cheque or bank transfer.
  5. Limited photography is allowed. However, we do not allow students to take videos during the classes as this can detract from other students’ enjoyment of the course.
  6. Only paid students are permitted in the classroom. We are unable to accommodate guests or children.
  7. We will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage to participants or their property due to any act or omission by the participants themselves, Zan’s Treats or its agents. The well-being of our customers and staff is very important to us. We provide a safety briefing at the start of each course. You are required to follow these guidelines in order to help us create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
